Welcome to the Las Lomitas Elementary School District. We look forward to meeting you and your family. School offices are open the second week of August through the end of June each academic year. If you have questions about the registration process, contact the school site(s), or email us at Registration@llesd.org
 
Please find the bullet below that describes your student to determine the correct next steps for registration:
  • Your student is new to LLESD, and it is during the school year (mid-August through early June): go to Las Lomitas Elementary School between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM, or to La Entrada Middle School between 8:30 AM and 3:15 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Your student is new to LLESD, and it is during summer recess (early June through mid-August): go the LLESD District Office between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM
  • Your student is currently enrolled at LLESD, and will be returning: we will contact you to complete registration for the upcoming year

Registration FOR the 2025-2026 School Year

Registration must be completed by both new and returning families, and opens after the last day of the school year (Friday, June 6, 2025).
 
The families of new students in Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade must bring the following to the school office where your child is to attend, or to the District Office during summer recess.
 
You must provide reasonable EVIDENCE OF RESIDENCY for your pupil living within the boundaries of the District.  You must provide three pieces of documentation as proof of residency, including but not limited to, any of the following documentation:
 
  • Property tax payment receipts
  • Rental property contract, lease, or payment receipts
  • Utility service contact, statement, payment receipt, or letter stating when service will commence
    • Please note that up to two utility contracts or payment records from two different utilities can be used to fulfil two of the three required documents
    • For example, you could submit your power and water bills
  • Notarized affidavit from property owner of Parent/Student residency
  • Pay stubs reflecting address of parent or guardian within the District
  • Voter registration document for parent or guardian
  • Correspondence from a government agency addressed to the parent or guardian within the District
  • Declaration of residency executed by the parent or legal guardian of a pupil
 
Please note that:
  • Phone and cell phone bills are not accepted
  • Bank statements are not accepted
  • We require originals, and cannot accept duplicates
 
You must provide DOCUMENTATION OF AGE - Evidence of the child's age may include:
  • A certified copy of a Birth Certificate or a statement by the local registrar or county recorder certifying the date of birth.
  • A duly attested baptism certificate
  • A passport
  • When none of the foregoing is obtainable, the parent/guardian may provide an affidavit (Education Code 48002)
 
You must provide an IMMUNIZATIONS RECORD - All immunizations must be current/completed prior to your child beginning school.  If the immunization records are not in English, please provide a translation.
 
You will be asked to fill out the following:
  • A Registration Form, which includes your child’s previous school information.
  • A Records Request form allows us to request your child’s school records from their previous school.
  • The California Education Code requires a Language Survey.
 
Upon receipt of all the items listed above, you will be given a code to access our online registration system, where you will continue the registration process. Click here to access our online registration system.
 
Please Note: Your child cannot attend school unless all state-required immunizations have been met.

Pre-Registration for the 2025-2026 School Year (Starts AugUST 20, 2025)

To begin the Pre-Registration process for Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade, bring the EVIDENCE OF RESIDENCY documents to the school office where your child is to attend no earlier than Monday, March 3, 2025.
 
Registration office hours are 9:00am to 3:30pm at Las Lomitas Elementary School and 8:30am to 3:15pm at La Entrada Middle School, Monday through Friday.
 
You will be asked to fill out the following:
  • A Registration Form, which includes your child’s previous school information.
  • A Records Request form, which allows us to request your child’s school records from their previous school.
  • A Language Survey, which is required by the California Education Code.

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS

All students enrolling in the Las Lomitas Elementary School District (LLESD) must satisfy California State Immunization Requirements prior to enrollment. Please see the Shots for School website for a guide to the requirements.
 
Students enrolling in LLESD from outside of the United States are also subject to the immunization requirements of the State of California and will not be admitted until all requirements are met. We will need proper documentation of your child's immunization with English translation as necessary to verify the records.
 
Please note: Your child will not receive class placement until all state required immunizations have been met.
